Spike Collars: What's So Special?

Hi jammers!  The new item is most likely at the Freedom Party, so I'll update the post when I get there.
I know almost every jammer is crazy about spikes!  What makes them so special?  Why are they so rare today?  They look cool, and all, but why are these past monthly member gifts some of THE rarest items in Jamaa?  Comment below with your ideas!

    I think they are rare today because they are not found in stores you might get it if some one gives you a gift on a jamagram or if someone likes your trade.

      Well, technically everything not in stores is considered rare. What makes these items rarer than almost any item? Is it the fact that these items were never in stores?

      Ummm... They never WERE in stores. They were the second monthly member gift ever.
